you sure want to get somewhere with this. you could try running some filters on ot to really mess it up. i use gimp with g'mic as a plugin for that. you could also try adding some things within the boxes.

well that was a good try! nice rough feel. not entirely sure if that was what you wanted but if so, then you did really good, especially with the stripes and hatching here and there. i would've specifically included some subject matters which people commonly think of as 'rough' like industrial landscapes. you can find some public domain stuff to work with from pexels and then use a local contrast filter or some other detail enhancement thing to make it all grimy like you did here.

"father, do you believe in me like you said you did years ago?"

masterful. great use of perspective and filled with little details, even the lights all the way in the distance.

i know it gets up to 50 degrees Celsius over there, but i wouldn't even survive 35...

'madness' tends to get boring after a while, though a strong fellow might be able to find difference and strength even in what nietzsche called the 'eternal recurrence of the same'. might be a theme for you to explore. but nope that's apparently 'stupid nonsense' according to tough guy tom

an unusual and inventive take on the world of alice in wonderland; i'm saying that with just this image to go by. the somehow dull-yet-bold face caught my attention a lot; i had to give it a second look!

Hyptosis responds:

Thank you! :D

i could definitely stare at this for hours; i hope for your sake that it didn't take so long to make! perfect for an album cover too.

LexRodent responds:

Glad you enjoy it.
It took a while to make, but wasn't too much to burn my eyes.

colour range and gradient is perfect for the kind of feel you were going for and the sketch style. why isn't this an album cover for some post-industrial internet amen jungle?

brilliant forms and great colour scheme choice; greyscale is a safe bet for this kind of art given that it draws attention to the particular aspects of the forms. i'd personally throw in some coarse noise as an overlaid texture

PurpleAmelie responds:

Thank you a lot for your feedback!

form is good and cryptic; colours are fine but the photo dynamic range could be much better for something like this.

vile machine spitting out failed online camouflage patterns; take no notice unless you're a masochist or an explorer. all my 'works' are free to abuse because they're shit.

BEHIND YOU. LAUGH.
