good layers with a nice fake depth-of-field effect. colour, contrast and lighting work damn well. if you wanted realism, the only nitpick i have is the specular lighting on the trees - a bit light. but i don't think you wanted that anyway.

nexketch responds:

tysm for the feedback!

very detailed and thoughtful character design. might be transhumanist goals for some. great worldbuilding too. the whole thing seems like a world i want to explore - though sadly we only live in the one, er, 'server'. a fucking dumpster fire of one at that.

it took you a long time and barely anyone's noticing. you deserve more than just some stupid pity for doing this despite your anxiety. i can't do that shit. and you can probably go a lot further with this.

BeachofStars responds:

Sorry for the last response but thank you so much for your feedback it means alot to me!. more of my artwork can be found here if you are interested https://www.deviantart.com/beachofstars

this man needs a young spiky-haired boy to strangle...

(yes, i like shitposts too. call the seriousness police.)

SEND A BLOODY TASK FORCE IN THAT CAVE AND MELT THE ROCKY BASTARD WITH A CROSS IN HAND. that's what any sane person would do. i think. ah, fuck it, what do i know.

i arrived for the gory detail and i stayed for the story. you should get a medal for both. the use of textures in the image makes me envious.

DevilishInks responds:

Thanks, man I appreciate it! I enjoy writing little stories and drawing so they both go hand in hand.

an awful lot of detail. nails a vibrant early-2000s website design aesthetic. (THERE, I SAID THE CULTURALLY-RELEVANT WORD.)

you should look into 'vectorheart' and 'metalheart' if you haven't already. it's good stuff.

SiADmedia responds:

I love those aesthetics and am really pleased someone made the connection. I was very inspired by them here but kind of ran in my own direction :)
I'd love to crack open Illustrator or C4D soon and make a proper vector/metalheart piece. It would be a slower more meticulous project, this was more of a dreamy expressive thing. Would be a lot of fun.

eye think you're mad. (i should get shot for such a terrible joke. go on. GRAB YOUR GAT.)

good use of a harsh red against the other trippy colours. the eyes make it even creepier.

do it again. and do more. great distortions in the reflection.

it's chaos! like a centaur covered in tadpole eggs. good use of contrast with the colours - i don't think you wanted a boring monotonous mess, and you certainly didn't make one.

in goes what looks like a markov chain diagram for a deterministic finite automaton (BIG WORDS! FUCK YEAH!), out comes a weird red mess of sierpinskis. reminds me of white blood cells. good use of lighting to make it look mysterious, like it's deep within a huge structure that you don't wan't to get lost in.

acheney responds:

yeah that diagram was of a dfa

a little more aggressive red and harshness and it would do very well. that's all it needs to be more brutal.

vile machine spitting out failed online camouflage patterns; take no notice unless you're a masochist or an explorer. all my 'works' are free to abuse because they're shit.

BEHIND YOU. LAUGH.
